I recently came across Wet n Wild’s Fergie Center Stage Collection at Walgreen’s and decided to give it a try. The collection includes crème liners, lip color, eyeshadow palettes, eyeshadow primer, shimmer palettes, mascara, and nail colors.
The To Reflect Shimmer Palettes caught my eye because it reminds me of MAC’s Mineralize Skinfinish. These metallic powders work perfect as highlighters and work GREAT on darker skin tones!

CoverGirl Queen Collection recently released their 3-in-1 Foundation, which is a foundation, concealer, and powder all in one. This foundation is meant for women of color and is comparable to Covergirl’s Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation. I’ve been wearing this foundation for a few days now, and I must say I am very impressed. It lasts all day and doesn’t crease. Also, it’s buildable and contains SPF 20. What’s great is you can truly wear this foundation without a powder. CoverGirl is giving MAC a run for their money!

Maybelline released a few limited edition products for their Fashion Week 2013: Color Goes Electric Collection. The collection includes baked blushes, nail polish, gel liner, new Vivids lipstick shades, and lastly lipgloss.
The one item that caught my eye was the Color Sensational Highshine Lipgloss in Mirrored Plum–a bright purple gloss with micro shimmer. I thought it would go well with MAC’s Heroine Lipstick (will be re-released in the Fashion Sets Collection in April).
See any products you like? Will you be switching to this CG 3-in-1 Foundation?!

What is a great match for MAC NW43/NW45 (studio fix powder) for the Covergirl Queen Collection?
You might want to try Sheer Espresso (Q850), which is 1 shade lighter than NW45. If you need something even lighter than that, try Warm Caramel (Q845). If both of those don’t match perfectly, you might have to mix two. If you get home and try it on and it doesn’t work, exchange it and try again! Good luck!
