No matter the season, you can never have enough denim! Fortunately, the folks over at GJG Clothing understand that concept all too well. So when they contacted me about testing out their collection of denim jeans, I was more than happy to oblige.

I’ve been obsessed with high waist jeans ever since I got my hands on a really awesome pair this summer. (They’re great for highlighting curves and long legs.) And I’m happy to report that this black pair from GJG are a welcomed addition to my growing collection. Finding highwaist jeans that fit my size 0 frame can be quite a task, but these don’t miss the mark by much. The smallest size they currently carry is a size 1 but surprisingly enough they fit quite well. I will probably get them taken in just a tad after I run them through the washer once or twice, but even without the tailoring they’re still a pretty good fit.

As you guys know, it’s still pretty warm here in NOLA, so I love that the denim is lightweight which makes them perfect for transitioning between summer and fall. I paired them with a simple black crop top, oversized army jacket, this coveted handbag from the 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target collection and a pair of super sexy suede pumps from Shoedazzle to create a chic military inspired look. At ease boys!
