One of the most important lessons in fashion is knowing how to make your wardrobe—and your money—stretch. One minute you might want a more glam look and the next you might be all about comfort. And it’s always great when you can use your favorite go-to piece to put together a look for either occasion. Bomber jackets are still big for Fall, so I’m showing you how to take it from dressy to casual with just a few, very affordable pieces from Marshall’s.

You guys know I love an all black look, so after finding this black bomber jacket for $24, the rest of my Fall color choices were a no brainer.

So for the first look, I paired a pair of $16 highwaist ankle jeans and a $12 bodysuit with the bomber jacket and heels for a dressier night out kind of look. What I love about this jacket is that it’s a great summer to fall transition piece. It’s lightweight enough to wear on summer nights, but still offers enough warmth for cooler Fall weather.

I finished the look off with a bowler style bag from Marshall’s that I scored for just $34. I fell in love with the unique shape of this bag and so, of course, I had to had it to my collection. Toss on a pair of $9 cat eye sunnies and you’re ready for a night out on the town!

For the second, more casual look, I paired the bomber jacket with a $12 knee length dress and sneakers. One of my favorite “off duty blogger” looks is a dress and sneakers. I love being able to be feminine yet comfortable. Plus, living in Chicago means lots of walking and sneakers just make life so much easier.

Finish it off with a contrasting cross body and $9 Kenneth Cole aviators and you’re ready for a day of running errands in style!
